This year is quickly coming to an end and it has been a very productive 12-months for the Automobilist team. While launching almost a hundred new posters, there were many important milestones achieved that we think deserve their spotlight. Sit back and enjoy our quick recapitulation of the year 2022!
We’ve launched a new Fine Art Print 'Where It All Began' and a poster collection celebrating Ayrton Senna’s first Grand Prix win in Portugal, Estoril in 1985.
We went to Munich to wish the rallying legend Walter Röhrl a Happy 75th Birthday and presented him with a special birthday poster.
We celebrated the 50th anniversary of WRC at Rally Portugal, with the WRC greats as well as the current drivers, who were presented with a special Driver’s Edition of our celebratory poster.
We widened our offer in the F1 Print Store through new partnerships with Oracle Red Bull Racing & Haas F1 Team – we are now official artwork creators for 8 out of 10 teams on the F1 grid.
We were part of 10 F1 Grands Prix through our trackside store.
We went to Monza to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monza Circuit with a collection of 10 posters from the past + 1 new one as a step into the new century.
We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with Porsche Museum through 3 new posters adding to our wide Porsche collection. For the occasion, we have also unveiled two new sizes of our posters called the Classic Edition and Mini Edition.
We wished Sebastian Vettel a farewell through our special tribute poster, celebrating his career full of achievements and presented it to him during his last Grand Prix weekend in Abu Dhabi.
We went to Oracle Red Bull Racing’s HQ in Milton Keynes to celebrate the two time world champion Max Verstappen and his RB18 through our new, extremely limited Art Edition, hand finished on site at the MK-7 facility.
We sold 130 of our signed posters and memorabilia - where part of the sales goes to ICM (Paris Brain Institute).
There is a key element to all of our milestones that has not been mentioned yet. Have you guessed it? Yes, it is all of You, our fellow Automobilists. Without You, there would not be any posters, milestones and achievements. Thanks to Your immense support we are able to dedicate the time to what we love and still search for the boundaries of our artistic efforts. Driven by You, We are Automobilist.
