Welcome to our weekly reading tips from Design Stories, the online magazine by Finnish Design Shop. We begin this time with a journey to South Korea, where we visit the beautiful home of two Aalto design enthusiasts.

“Finnish design gave us a shared language for decorating our home,” says the couple living in Seoul. They’ve already visited Finland five times to find inspiration.

In the heart of the Cyclades, where the Aegean Sea glistens in shades of turquoise, stands Piperi House – a summer home designed by architect Sigurd Larsen. Step inside to discover breathtaking photos and the sculptural building’s dreamlike aesthetic.

NHL star Kevin Lankinen and his partner Iina found their perfect summer home in the Töölö district of Helsinki. The apartment now serves as a home base in Finland for the couple living abroad – complete with a sauna for the sauna-loving goaltender. Finnish Design Shop’s Studio played a part in furnishing both the stylish interior and the impressive rooftop terrace.
