In this series, we invite you behind the scenes to meet the designers responsible for the gear. This month, say hey to Louise, our Product Manager for Footwear, as she shares some of her favorite creations with us.
Winter finds Louise engaged in snowboarding and skiing, while summer sees her bouldering, hiking, and enjoying time with friends. She has an affinity for plants, gardening and outdoor adventures, which often serve as an inspiration for her work.

| We wanted a solution for using only one pair of shoes for hiking and being able to walk through streams. |

|
|
|
|
|
| The shoes are made for walking in water! The water easily drains out of the shoe, and all the materials are HH Quick Dry, so they wont absorb water and they dry quickly. At the same time, the toes are protected so you can hike without worrying about kicking into rocks or other hard surfaces. |

| There is a top layer of water repellent material to protect when walking in wet terrain, and the below layer is an air flow mesh for good breathability. |

| What's your favorite thing about these hiking shoes? |
|
|
| The textures and colors of the different layers interact well together. And I really like the outsole and midsole which are very comfortable and have good grip. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| When did you last wear the shoes yourself? |
|
|
| When I went climbing at Kolsås, a ridge outside of Oslo. They're good to walk up through the boulders to the cliff, but also really nice for longer summer hikes. |

| I love the nice and discreet design on the webbing and the technologies used. It's an easy summer sandal, with good rubber grip outsole and duo density EVA foam for extra comfort in the footbed. |
