We spoke to past Dezeen Awards winners about how their success brought new visibility to their studios.

Spanish studio Mesura, who won interiors project of the year award for their Aesop store made of salvaged building fragments, said "winning a Dezeen Award gives credibility", while US practice Mass Design Group described winning sustainability project of the year for its Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA), as "inspiring, affirming and uplifting".
